Vision

To create a coalition of community resources that works in concert to provide comprehensive health services that meets the populations unmet needs.

Goals

Increase educational opportunities for health care providers, create educational opportunities for community leaders, and increase prevention education and activities in rural communities.

Objective

Improve access to and utilization of Quality health care services, increase access to innovative prevention services, and educational opportunities in communities through partnerships that engage individuals and organizations.

Minority Health Disparities Conference Series, Better Living Show’s displays, Workshops at the “HIV in WV Conference”, WV Rural Health Conference, Nursing Association Conference.

Outcomes

Increased regional capacity to address health disparities and unmet needs of rural Appalachians.

Increased regional resources and linkages to shared work among the Coalition Members
